Unity Catalog ABAC policies
GALast seen at this status: 2026-04-28·Apr 2026
Attribute-based access control (ABAC) in Unity Catalog uses governed tags on data assets to enforce row filter and column mask policies on tables, materialized views and streaming tables. Policies are attached at the catalog, schema or table level and apply automatically to every object with matching tags, so access rules scale without per-table setup. Later additions such as DENY policies, metastore-level policies and policies on views are in Beta.
