Native SQL support for geospatial vector data on Databricks: the GEOMETRY and GEOGRAPHY column types, more than 90 OGC-compliant ST functions for importing, exporting, measuring, constructing and transforming shapes, and spatial joins. GEOMETRY and the ST functions are generally available, while GEOGRAPHY support is still in Public Preview.
