Genie Code, formerly Databricks Assistant, is the AI coding and data agent for developers and technical practitioners in the Databricks workspace. It plans and carries out multi-step tasks such as generating and running code, building pipelines and AI/BI dashboards, and fixing errors, within the user's Unity Catalog permissions. It works in notebooks, the SQL editor, the Lakeflow Pipelines Editor, AI/BI dashboards and MLflow.
